(Search Engine Optimisation)
There are 2 critical factors determining how you perform on search engines: your content (on-page) and how popular you are (off-page).
ON-PAGE
Ok, that’s a little simplistic, but it’s basically how it works. Every web page we build is always optimised to be search engine friendly and we can also offer advice or carry out an audit of your site to make sure you’re doing the right things.
OFF-PAGE
The off-page part is about how many links there are into your site. The more the merrier, but quality is key (a link from the BBC is worth an awful lot more than one from Mrs Miggin’s Pie Shop). We don’t do off-page SEO as a standalone service because we think it should be an integral part of your digital strategy. We can help with that and we can track your rankings in the major search engines, as well as the links into your site.
THE HARD WAY
Rather than mindlessly submitting your site to every search engine and directory known to humanity just to get any old
traffic, we believe in building popularity the hard way – using more traditional marketing techniques: PR, advertising, social media activity, and email campaigns, to name a few.
MARKETING, NOT SEO
This way, you’re not just marketing your site for SEO purposes, but you’re marketing your brand, your business, your service or your product. Search engine ranking will follow and until it does, a well-thought-out Adwords campaign could be far more effective than short-sighted SEO tactics.
